The Frederick-Firestone Fire District's Annual Report provides residents and businesses that reside in the Towns of Frederick and Firestone information about the Fire District on a yearly basis.

Operational Snapshot

In 2024, Frederick-Firestone Fire crews ran a total of 3,079 calls. Of those calls, 1,877 were medical calls, 331 were fire calls, 369 were public assists, 411 were good intent calls, 88 were for hazardous materials confitions, and three (3) for sever weather.

Training

The Training Division is responsible for providing fire rescue and emergency medical trainings for crews and staff. These trainings include hours of lecture and practical instruction by way of teleconferencing to the stations, in-person drills and field instruction, or situational drills at the training facility.

Community Risk Reduction (CRR) Highlights

  • 211 special use permits issued.
  • 96% of fire protection systems compliant.
  • 840 Annual Business inspections completed.
  • 198 High Hazard o9ccupanacies inspected.

Community Engagement

  • 22 total CPR/AED/Basic First Aid Classes; 254 Students Certified.
  • 24 car seats safely installed/checked for parents in the community.
  • 13 fire station tours: 561 total visitors.
  • Visited 45 schools/preschools and educated 2,823 students and teachers.
  • Community Babysitting Classes, 32 attendees.
